After much discussion (and much planning... and talking about it... and not doing it) me and Mark Holmes, the noted artist intern, decided to co-write a piece. And this is the fruition of that idea. The first chapter, written by Mark and edited by myself (the webmaster intern), is the culmination. What should follow shortly... well, who can tell?
This should be the most dynamic of our projects, as it is one neither of us can predict. We will alternate chapters, and while we will ultimately develop a framework, what happens within this framework should be a product that is at once our own, and a collision of our own voices. This is our online novel, published (as of this writing) only online, created online. This is the first stage in what I hope to be the creation of true open-source literature.
